Description

A nice looking car , with three owners on logbook and some intermittent service history and repairs has had a cambelt fitted aprox 60ooomiles /96000 kilometres . Quite a lot of the car is original, I've had the car resprayed although not the best job, does polish up quite well .some of the black plastic trim could do with touching up ie back to black do have the winter covers that fit the removable glass roof panels. If you look up the MOT you will see a number of advisories. Have put 2 new tyres on, because have two decorative Chrome twin exhaust outlets that just clamp on garages cover their backs and say slight leak did have the exhaust gasket replaced last year. When I had the tyres done I looked at the springs they have surface rust where the paint off the springs has obviously over the years disappeared and as I sprayed some anti-corrosion fluid they cover their back by saying the brake pipes are corroded or got fluid on them. But we have priced the car we think fairly and certainly paid a lot more for car than we are asking. Purchased car on a whim 2 years ago for my wife but mainly just sits out front I don't think we've done 1000 miles in it. We have large young family late in life so don't get the down time to take the glass off and enjoy nice open top drive. Gladly answer any questions or anyone who wishes to view.Do have the original Japanese registration cancellation certificate in Japanese and English equivalent. Overall very nippy car especially when flicked into overdrive. Have replaced the electric window motor and there is a spare one in the car as I purchased two , also replaced the battery and electric aerial. The front number plate is standard UK size but the fitting underneath is the original Japanese size. Whether you have the top off and the breeze in your hair or the heater on a winter's day is still a lovely car to drive , just need someone who's got the time to appreciate it!! . if had the time and was younger, "wire brush coil springs prime and spray, clean and lacquer brake pipes ,back to black on trim and touch in round front badge and around grommet for Ariel only slight and on request take pictures for some reason the paint didn't bond as well as it should have done unless you were looking for it it doesn't really stand out I was told it possibly because they might have been a little bit of Wax left prior to having the respray. I did take it for a 130 mile run a couple of days ago and if you look on the MOT we possibly haven't done 200 miles since the MOT was done.
