Description

Hello, this is my 1989 Mazda Eunos Roadster which has been in the country since 1999. 1.6 Red £2000 Good points: The car runs and drives straight and starts every time. MOT until March 2022. Import MX-5, so is fitted with V-Lsd, Air Conditioning (realistically needs a re-gas), headrest speaker cloth seats (desirable as you can trim the bottom sponge down if you're taller). Aftermarket exhaust manifold and back box (Fitted by previous owner). Bluetooth double din head unit fitted. Tyres all round are relatively new (March 2021) and have good amounts of tread all round. Alignment carried out after the most recent MoT Sills were repaired/replaced courtesy of the previous owner before I purchased the car. Short nose crank 1.6 has been replaced with a long nose crank 1.6 (150,000km). As a whole the bodywork is clean with no major dents. The only ones that exist are mainly stone chips or car park dings. When the engine was replaced a full fluids service was carried out, engine, gearbox and differential oils all replaced. The gearbox feels brilliant and lives up to the reputation it deserves. Green Stuff pads, and relatively new discs all round. Not so good points: The car is a mix of KM and Miles so I cannot guarantee the exact milage of this car. The engine however was supposedly on 150,000km when purchased but the car still retains its original clocks. Red paint has faded in places, I do believe it's possible with a good detail that you could bring it back to life. Headrest speakers are blown unfortunately, but will work fine if replaced. High beam sometimes sticks when flashing people, to avoid this when the headlights aren't on I keep the high beam in the on position. This is due to the bearings in the stalk which have worn out. I have a complete replacement wiper and headlight stalk unit to fix this, just never fitted.(I'll include this in the sale). Exhaust blows slightly. I believe a thicker gasket will eliminate this. I hope you can understand this is a 32 year old car, and they're only climbing in value now. For the right person this can hopefully be a tidy car with a good few years left in it atleast. I have some spares which if haven't sold already can be included within the sale. Pair of red doors with no dents and not faded at all. M2 Motorsports front strut brace (fits NA and NB chassis). Bride Ergo 1.5 bucket seat. Bridgestone VT Lightweight multi piece wheels (made in Japan, early 2000s stuff). Please feel free to send a message for any more info or incase I missed something.
