VW POLO 1.2 S 5-Door 5-Seat This is my car, and it’s a domestic sale from home. The preferred “S” model, 1.2 with super cheap insurance, cheap tax, and great mpg This model is fitted with a timing chain, so no cam-belt to worry about. It doesn't use oil or water etc, drives straight & true, no issues whatsoever, is great on a fast road, and is uber reliable. This is my third Polo as 41-year-old woman, and this 1.2 is the nippiest that I've had. Sometimes you just get a good one. Spec All the usuals - from split fold rear seats to power steering, aircon, multiple airbags, abs, safety cell, remote locking, electric windows, elec mirrors, VW high-end sound system etc General Condition It’s as good as it looks - better than you’ll see on forecourts. Pretty much immaculate inside & out. The interior is as clean as the exterior. Very decent original VW alloy wheels, and all with excellent tyres. There's a tiny impression in the top of one wing, and a small scratch on the bottom of the front plastic bumper that's been touched in - and that's it; and neither detract from the overall aesthetics as you may appreciate from the photos. Clean carpets, immaculate seats, no bodywork rot absolutely anywhere, no scratched door panels, no torn wipers, no kids, no pets, no smoking, just as good as you’d hope for throughout. Everyone says it's the cleanest Polo for the year that they've ever seen, and I regularly get complimented on it. It's all original and completely unmolested. Maintenance Now approaching 103K miles. Most recent servicing below, all documented: - Front Brake Discs & Pads at 102K miles ~ £242 MOT & Rear Brake Pipes at 101K miles ~ £287 Rear Exhaust Silencer, Full Service, 2x Tyres at 100K miles ~ £372 2x Front Suspension Struts at 96K miles ~ £280 3/4 Exhaust, 2x Tyres at 84K miles ~ £389 Additional Info With a sale in mind I just took it for a fresh MOT and it sailed through without a single advisory! No maintenance is due or up & coming. It's good for a long long while. It's only done 1000 miles since it's last MoT I've only done 40 miles in it in the last month. I have another car and I just don't use it. A folder of invoices & receipts comes with it, as does the VW folder with all the manuals, and both keys. There are plenty of Polos of similar year and similar spec out there from £500 to £2500, but when you start to look through them all in more detail, you'll soon learn what's what! This has been a faultless little run-around, and it has had no expense spared on it in recent years. It’d be a mistake to underestimate the true value of this.
